i liked the area in which the hotel was situated, and the breakfast in the mornings was good value, thats if you are actually served with it!!!!!!
i did not like the fact that the annex was not close to the main hotel but a five minute walk down the road.On my last morning i had to walk to the main hotel for breakfast i arrived at 10.20 and was told that i was too late and that the breakfast had finished being served. It states that breakfast is served until 10.30 so i was not late, however the reception person was so rude in calling me a liar about the time that he even said my watch was in fact slow and that he was correct, the whole experience was very dissapointing. My room although was a single room was very very small the bathroom was little bigger than a closet and you couldnt even sit on the toilet without great diffficulty, the noise from the room above terrible. Never again.

Convenience - as Hotel is close to the Theatre that we went to
Rooms could be brighten up with that little bit extra - ie maybe a mini fridge and wine glasses in room for late arrivals. Room made more modern and more cheerful. Disappointed with room, as on the Internet it looked great!

Self-contained with cooking facilities, washing machine, ironing facilities. Fresh towels and clean rooms. Comfy beds and excellent wifi for work. Convenient Budgens right opposite. Friendly staff.

The hotel is conveniently located near the town, a football ground, and various amenities, offering a decent storage space, fridge, television. Plus, there are dining options close by.

I wasn't provided with towels on one of the days I stayed and the annexe is too far away to walk to reception to raise the issue (there is no telephone communication from the room.) The room was very small.

It was cheap
The carpark was a deathtrap. To call it a gravel car park would be an understatement. No lighting, and as I was walking back from the car park, I stumbled. It could have been alot worse. The room I stayed at was not in the same building as the main hotel either. Not even in the same plot! I had to find it after I had checked in. The tv was tiny, and only had 5 channels. considering a box is only just over 10 pound nowadays, I find this a bit cheap. From my room, I could not see a way to contact the front desk either

The hotel is conveniently located close to the town centre, making it easy to access shops and restaurants. Guests can also enjoy a 10-minute walk to the main shopping centre with various restaurant options, such as Zizzi and Pizza Express. There is also a parking area available, though the entrance can be a bit cramped.
One of the facilities needs improvement, as guests reported issues with the toilets not working properly in some of the rooms.

Breakfast was very nice. Very clean. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful.
It's was very warm and air conditioning or a fan in the room would have been great.

The staff are most helpful, informative, attentive and efficient. I stayed in a single room which was clean and bright and adequate for my needs; although the en-suite might be quite 'cosy' for a bigger person.
The hotel comprises several plots of accommodation away from the main building, not all of which have parking. Consequently there may be a 200 yd trek across unlit, sometimes rough, terrain.
